A date night in Dartmouth 10 years ago could’ve included Steak and Stein with a stay at the Future Inn. Not anymore:

The old hotel in Highfield Park started to get ripped down last week:

What is the future of the former Future Inn?

Demolition has begun on the forner Future Inn in Highfield Park in Dartmouth.

And over the weekend, crews gated off the old Steak and Stein Dartmouth location, with demolition starting this morning:

Yes the Dartmouth Steak & Stein is coming down
no I don't know what is going there

but it is owned by the same folks who own the plaza at either end of that block
