Team Canada is out at the World Juniors in Sweden.
Czechia beat them 3-2 in Tuesday morning’s quarterfinal matchup.
The winning goal came with just a dozen seconds left in the 3rd period.
Matthew Wood and Jake Furlong scored for Canada, who rallied from 2-0 down after the 1st period.
Canada was trying for their 3rd straight gold medal at the tournament.
They beat Czechia in the gold medal game in overtime last year in Halifax.
The Czechs move on to Thursday’s semifinals.
