Grand Parade is full of tents for those experiencing homelessness.
It has recently become a designated outdoor area; however, the city is now saying those living there must leave for the winter.
In a recent update, HRM says the snow clearing equipment they use poses a safety risk and if there are no indoor options, you must go to another designated outdoor location.
The city says municipal outreach workers and street navigators are currently working with those sheltering there to help relocate them.
Thursday, November 16, the city put a Christmas Tree in Grand Parade with a tree lighting ceremony planned for November 25, along with the Parade of Lights.
