With these wildfires getting out of control, it’s certainly hard to find silver linings and even harder to find heart warming stories.
Lisa Parsons, however, operates the Pampered Paws Inn in Hammonds Plains, NS and on Sunday night went above and beyond for her 18 overnighting pups.
First, we have to give credit where it’s due to the Weather Network for brining this story to light.
Lisa trekked through three kilometres of thick brush and put her own personal safety at serious risk to save the lives of the 18 good dogs.
She has since become a folklore legend throughout Nova Scotia…as she should be. Her story is truly inspirational.
