The annual JUNO Awards took place last night in beautiful sunny Edmonton, Alberta.
The carpet was red, the stars were shining and the streakers were ready to pounce. The night had it all!
Let’s start with the rock-related highlights first though before we get to the semi-clothed.
Now, when it comes to rock in this country, there are few groups (if any) bigger than the Arkells right now. The band had one helluva year with their Blink Twice album and their success culminated with a Group of the Year win!
Blink Twice includes multiple collaborations along with a boat load of notable tunes that you can hear regularly on Surge 105.
The rock scene was represented very well with the reunited Alexisonfire also taking home Rock Album of the Year honours for their 2022 release of Otherness.
