The man, the myth, the legend… Gonzo. Everyone’s second or third favourite Muppet (We all know the best one is either Fozzy Bear or Animal, don’t lie to yourself).
But the biggest question that I’m sure everyone is asking themselves… what… exactly… is he?
He has a Donald Duck-like nose, he’s blue like some sort of blue jay, but no matter how many people you ask, nobody can give you an exact idea of what Gonzo truly is.
One's here for the story 📖

Now, perhaps I am able to give you some sort of an answer, so hopefully you are able to sleep tonight.
We all remember our favourite McDonald’s mascot… Grimace. What a loveable fella. If you look at the two of them together, there is a lot more similarities than you would think.
First, they have the same eye shape. They have the droopy, stare-into-your-soul eyes. Secondly, they have a similar awkward smile, as if they hate being at the work party after 9pm. And not to mention they have the same three-fingered hands.
But what about the nose? Where does the nose come from?
Hear me out folks… just hear me out…
You know what other loveable Jim Henson puppet has a nose like that… The Snuffleupagus
But think about it… The nose, the lips, the same fur texture… I think we are on to something.
Not sure which side of the family Gonzo got his height from, but I love the thought of Grimace and Snuffleupagus being a couple and going on McDonalds dates, splitting a milkshake or something. Or the two of them holding hands/trunks walking down Sesame Street.
I would for sure ship this couple.
