Canada is the lone country that was not awarded a new World Cup kit from Nike. It’s a long story and we’ll get into on Friday. We’ll drop an article then about how and why we were shunned from the new kit collection.
In the meantime, though, let’s take a look at some of flashiest new duds from this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
Quick disclaimer. If you haven’t already figured it out yet, a “kit” is what soccer folk call the full jersey, shorts and socks uniform. It mainly applies to the jersey though.

Very clean with an excellent use of the bronze trim for the logo and numbering. Awesome stuff!
#4 – South Korea
South Korea's away kit is a stunner 🎨 pic.twitter.com/hf4jIE1IhD

Soooooooooooo badass! Ring ring. Hello 90’s, we need an amazing World Cup jersey on the double!
#3 – Denmark
One of the teams making meaningful impact at this shambolic World Cup is Denmark 🇩🇰
Their kits are monochromatic protests of human rights abuses
They are donating money to migrant workers for every single goal scored in Danish Football in November 💶https://t.co/VkYgjVz4fJ pic.twitter.com/LBz8kRXBIu

The donation. The devotion. The subtlety. Unreal stuff from Denmark from top to bottom.
#2 – Senegal
I feel like Senegal saw @OfficialShots away kit and liked the look of it so much that they based their World Cup kit on it pic.twitter.com/Zigq4GkLs4

In the words of Saliva, Click Click Boom! Love the chevron V on any jersey. Gorgeous!
#1 – Japan
There's some gem 2022 World Cup kits out there, but these are just so damn slick! As always, well played #Japan! pic.twitter.com/oiYP7rnHyz

Go back through the years, Japan always delivers on the world stage – kit-wise anyway! Their 2022 home and away are total stunners!
