The hurricane is over (although the weather still sucks)
Some people were really worried about the birds as storms are really hard on them!
This amazing bird got stuck in the storm all the way from Bermuda! BERMUDA!!!!!

The White Tail Tropicbirds were found on a country road in Port Hawkesbury, a residence in St. Peter’s and in Sydney.
Jonathan Bowen rescued the bird in Port Hawkesbury. Aurora Marchand and Jennifer Landry rescued the bird in St. Peter’s.
The birds are being well cared for. The one in St. Peter’s may have a broken tail. Hope For Wildlife has come to the rescue of the birds and will care for them before it can be sent back to their home country.
A lot of people were worried about the wild horses of Sable Island. Luckily they are all safe and sound.
Update from Zoe Lucas @Sable_Institute, who stayed on #SableIsland during #FionaHurricane:
By late morning Sat. horses had emerged from shelter and were grazing, grooming, and engaged in usual activities. Wonderful news!!! #wildhorsesofsableisland https://t.co/p1mL0EBBfe pic.twitter.com/0PJbP0XNIx— SableIslandWildHorse (@sablewildhorse) September 25, 2022
Also, thank you to Andy Bowers for providing laughter during the storm
Those Sable Island horses had power internet & free wifi the entire time. Maybe they should be checking in to see how we’re doing.
