Halifax Regional Police say the operations in the area of Evans Avenue have ended.
They say a minor police presence will be in the area pending further investigation at a home.
There is no security risk to the public.
Halifax Regional Police say an operation is underway near Fairview.
There is an increased police presence in the 0-200 block of Evans Avenue close to Lacewood Drive.
The public is asked to stay away from the area while the operation is carried out.
“There is no immediate threat to the public,” a news release says.
