The Cape Breton Eagles have named Jon Goyens as their new head coach.
The Montreal native brings 28 years of coaching experience to the role and was the head coach of the Baie-Cameau Drakkar during the 2019-2020 season, following a successful tenure with Lac St Louis in the Quebec M18 League.
The Eagles General Manger Sylvain Couturier says, Goyens has passion for the sport and the drive to develop the players and believes he will bring the team one step closer to winning a championship.
Goyens says he is grateful for being selected as the new head coach, and he looks forward to moving to Cape Breton and being a part of the community.
