A man is in hospital after a shooting in Bedford.
Police were called to the area of Duke Street in Bedford near Damascus Road and the 102 Highway at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday night.
A white pickup truck was found nearby with evidence suggesting it was struck by bullets. A man was also located that had suffered from apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but will require surgery.
No arrests have been made.
Members of Bedford Police Patrol, Criminal Investigative Division, Forensic Identification Services as well as K-9 are involved in the investigation.
