The four-year plan does not include specific targets or timelines but highlights six broad steps.
A goal is to make Nova Scotia a magnet for healthcare workers by streamlining the hiring process.
Other steps include expanding the care abilities of health professionals and supporting programs promoting general health and wellness.
Another pledge is to expand virtual health care by including consultations with specialists and adding it as an option in ERs.
