The lineup for Popeye’s opening was verrrrrrrrrrry long

Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken opened it’s first Halifax location and people flat out lost their minds.

The lineup to have some chicken went for hours with some people waiting as long as four hours to test the famous Popeye recipe.

Early last week it was announced that Popeye’s would actually bring in security for it’s opening and that wasn’t the worst idea apparently. Reports began surfacing late last night that people were so enraged with the store’s closing that they threw food at the staff.

We really hope these reports are false. If they are true though, we have good news…

Popeye’s is open again today…and it will be tomorrow as well…and the next day…and the next etc.
