The city is looking for your feedback on a new commuter ferry service in Bedford.
Halifax Transit has posted a new survey to get your thoughts on the planned route between Mill Cove and downtown Halifax.
Transit officials estimate the service will provide faster access to the downtown than if you were to hop on a bus or drive your car.
Share your thoughts! We want to hear from residents about a new Mill Cove Rapid Ferry service – offering a fast, direct connection between Bedford and downtown Halifax. Survey closes April 8, 2022: https://t.co/oHuyoKWeDY. More info: https://t.co/Luebrrk8Sz pic.twitter.com/u5BLi5pGTt

The survey asks questions about your travel into the city, especially prior to the pandemic.
It also wants to know how likely you would be to ditch your car for the ferry if the price and departure times were reasonable and parking was free.
Officials hope to have the new ferry running out of Mill Cove by 2024.
The survey closes on April 8th.
