A man is dead after an early morning shooting in downtown Halifax Saturday.
Police say they responded to a call on the 1600 block of Hollis Street just before 4 a.m.
Officers found a man in his twenties who had been shot. He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
The man has not yet been identified.
The scene of the shooting was shut down for much of the morning while officers investigated.
