A blustery start to the day.
Environment Canada has a special weather statement in place for the Halifax area.
It’s calling for up to 10 centimetres during the morning commute.
Crashes and slow downs are being reported throughout the city.

The forecaster predicts the snow will fall fast but it will end around mid-day.
All schools in Halifax are open today but other places in the province cancelled classes for the day.
Another 5-10 centimetres is expected on Thursday morning.
