The top 10 names for 2021 are Olivia, Jack, Noah, Oliver, Owen, Levi, Ava, Henry, Benjamin, and William. These are according to Nova Scotia’s Registry of Vital Statistics.
The most popular names usually remain consistent over the years.
There are a few new names gaining popularity such as Aurora, Declan and Bennett, with some old favourites coming back like Liam and Charlotte.
As of December 29th, there were 6,946 registered births in Nova Scotia in2021.
For the record, Oliver was the top baby name for the province in 2020.
