Update: 2 p.m.
Police are investigating a homicide in Halifax.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. officers responded to a weapons call at a business on Brunswick Street.
A man entered the business and attacked two men who were inside.
The suspect then ran away.
A 55-year-old man who was stabbed was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
A 66-year-old man who was injured during the altercation was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in the area a short time later and charges are expected.
Police have reopened Brunswick Street between Sackville Street and Spring Garden Road as well as Doyle Street at Queen Street.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call.
