If your car is parked on the street in Halifax, you’d better go move it.
The city gave notice Friday morning workers would begin towing vehicles blocking snow removal.
Starting today (Dec. 10) we're starting to tow vehicles that are snowed-in and haven't been moved since Wednesday night. This is to allow for snow clearing and clearing of catch basins ahead of this weekend's expected rainfall.
Please move your vehicle.

Officials say it’s to allow for snow removal, and to clear catch basis ahead of heavy weekend rains.
They say this isn’t an action under the parking ban, the city cannot call a parking ban until Dec. 15, but officials can tow any vehicle in the way of snow clearing at any time.
