If you live on the Dartmouth side of the harbour, your water could be a bit murky over the next few days.
Crews with Halifax Water finished the first phase of upgrades at the Lake Major supply plant.
The utility indicates water quality should return to normal the next few days, but if it doesn’t, get in touch with them.
The work is part of a 10-year plan to upgrade infrastructure and provide high quality drinking water.
The plant supplies water to Dartmouth, Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, North Preston and Westphal.
