A scare for a mom and her child after a hit and run just outside of Windsor on Halloween night.
The pair were trick-or-treating in Garlands Crossing between 7 and 8 p.m.
RCMP say the mom was struck by a car while waiting for her kid to get a treat at a home near the intersection of Underwood Road and Jared Crescent.
They add the woman was hurt, falling to the ground, but the car kept going.
It was last spotted heading towards Highway 14. The vehicle is described as small, old, and dark with a white mark near the trunk.
Anyone who was on Underwood Road at the time of the incident, or who has information that could identify the vehicle or driver, is asked to contact the West Hants RCMP at 902-798-2207.
