In just one more day, the third and final piece to the Morning Surge will be in place.
Yes, we are just one sleep away from imminent disappointment. Honestly, how can this guy live up to the hype that we’ve created for him? We’ve blurred his face. We’ve teased him on air. We’ve had listeners guess who he is. We’ve pumped the hell out of his tires and we feel that in doing so, we may have done him a bit of a disservice. There’s no way anybody can match this much hype.
Or is there?
He’s currently lightyears ahead of Jeff and Amy in the Surge football pool. He’s anxious to get on stage and dive into the Halifax stand up circuit. He loves good craft beer. Claims to have a rich history in spandex (whatever that means). He brought his hockey gear and golf clubs with him on the plane. He loves long walks on the beach…albeit with his dog. He’s a proud girl dad, husband of one and claims to be the best parallel parker in the country – a title that he will have to fight Amy for.
This guy sounds like he might be okay. As the oldest cliché in broadcasting goes, “time will tell.”
