Police are looking for a man believed responsible for a robbery, a break and enter, and a theft within just three hours.
At 10:45 p.m. Friday, a man threatened the clerk at an Esso Gas Bar on 7151 Chebucto Road.
He told the clerk he had a weapon, and stole cigarettes and cash.
The man fled before officers arrived. Police searched the area with a police dog and found the stolen cash, but the man escaped.
Shortly after, at 12:52 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a break-in at the Wilsons Gar Bar at 289 Herring Cove Road.
The man damaged the business, but nothing was stolen.
The same man broke into the nearby Shopper’s Drug Mart at 315 Herring Cove Road at 1:02 a.m.
The man stole an undisclosed amount of medication.
A police dog was again called in for a search, but didn’t find the man.
Police say they believe the same man committed all three crimes, based on information from the scene and security footage.
The man is white, 5’9”, with a thin build, short hair, and was wearing black sweat pants and black hoodie with “Real Tree” logo on the chest in white, with red sneakers with white soles.
