Halifax Police say a man was assaulted and robbed in the city on Monday.
Officers responded to the incident near the intersection of West and Agricola streets at around 5 p.m.
Police say the suspect punched the man to the ground and stole property from him.
He then took off in a car which was reported to be a black Chevy Cruz.
The suspect is described as a Black man, approximately 5’11” tall with a medium build, and a shaved head.
He was wearing a white t-shirt, light coloured blue jeans, white sneakers, and reading glasses.
