Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 at various locations in Halifax.
The latest list also includes locations in the Western and Northern Zone along with two Air Canada flights.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public.
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Ristorante a Mano (1477 Lower water St., Halifax) on September 16 between 6:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 30.
- Brown Hound Pub (1450 Ironstone Lane, Halifax) on September 17 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Gahan House (5239 Sackville St., Halifax) on September 17 between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Lower Deck (1887 Upper water St., Halifax) on September 17 between 5:00 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. (September 18) It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 2.
- McKelvie’s Restaurant (1680 Lower Water St., Halifax) on September 23 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
- Harvest Restaurant (936 Bedford Hwy., Bedford) on September 18 between 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 2.
- Shakes on Main (465 Main St., Lawrencetown) on September 23 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
- Paddy’s Brewpub & Rosie’s Restaurant (42 Aberdeen St., Kentville) on September 21 between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
- Sugar Moon Farm (221 Alex Rd., Earltown) on September 23 between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were on the following flights in the specified rows and seats on the named date and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Air Canada 668 travelling on September 21 from Montreal (8:20 p.m.) to Halifax (10:46 p.m.). Passengers in rows 31-36, seats A, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
- Air Canada 618 travelling on September 23 from Toronto (8:55 p.m.) to Halifax (11:55 p.m.). Passengers in rows 28-34, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
Health official ask that you get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
