Will PC’s Will Have Majority or Minority?
Election Nova Scotia started counting some ballots at 6:30 p.m.
There is a provision in the Elections Act for write-in ballot polls to be counted early (before the close of polls at 8 pm) at the Chief Electoral Officer’s discretion. The counting of all out-of-district write-in ballot polls will begin at 6:30 pm in Dartmouth.
The Chief Electoral Officer, Richard Temporale has indicated he may need to end the vote count at midnight if it looks like it could go extremely late due to worker fatigue.
If that happens it will pick back up at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Early Voting
