Vans and Metallica have joined forces to celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the “Black Album,” with two limited edition shoes, a pair of Sk8-Hi and Classic Slip-Ons.
The Vans x Metallica shoes feature artwork designed by Pushead, well know for his work with Metallica and other bands. The kicks will be sold exclusively via Vans Family starting on July 25 at 9 p.m. PST and on Metallica.com on July 26 at 9 a.m. PST.
The Black Album was Metallica’s fifth studio album and has sold over 30 million copies worldwide since it was released in August of 1991.
