New Brunswick is set to join the Atlantic Bubble and open its borders to the rest of Canada at midnight.
Premier Blaine Higgs announced the province is moving to Phase 2 and is opening the bubble to include all of Nova Scotia, not just Cumberland County.
Travelers from elsewhere in Canada would also be exempt from isolation if they have one or both doses of the vaccine. Those who haven’t been vaccinated would still have to isolate while they wait for a negative test result.
Anyone coming to New Brunswick from outside of the Atlantic Bubble would still be required to register their travel.
Meanwhile, Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and Newfoundland and Labrador are expected to open their borders to all of Atlantic Canada on June 23.
